Your child’s health and safety is our first priority at St. Matthias.  In an attempt to maintain a safe and healthy environment, and limit the spread of illness, we have developed the following guidelines:

If your child has experienced any of the following symptoms within 24hrs of participating in a Children’s program/event, we ask that you keep him/her home.   If your child becomes ill while participating in one of our Children programs or event, you will be contacted immediately so that he/she can be picked up.

Symptoms:
•    Fever of 100.4 or greater
•    Vomiting
•    Diarrhea
•    Persistent cough (not allergy related)
•    Unexplained rash or hives
•    Mucus – discolored, excessive and/or persistent from mouth, nose, eyes
•    Eye infection or suspected eye infection
•    Oozing sores or cuts
•    Head lice, ringworm (until treated)
•    Open blisters if diagnosed with Hand, Foot, & Mouth infection
